YES, they did and NO they were not drinking.
Also your article is off on their facts.
No one had any broken bones.

this nauseates me that you try and turn a tragedy like this into your own personal gain in your vendetta against the shriners and in your pseudo journalistic career.

Here is a link describing the broken bones:

    http://www.boston.com/news/nation/articles/2007/08/27/no_charges_in_shriners_parade_accident/

If my investigation nauseates you, don't read it.

    Vendetta?

Remember, I was asked by Shriners to investigate them and have focused on non profit transparency, disclosure and accountability.

If you want to write your own articles and dispute the information provided on documents like the groups' non profit tax returns, business filings, real estate documents, FDA correspondence, lawsuits and state charity registrations, sign up here at Newsvine.com and join the party.

Did you know that Newsvine.com was just bought by MSNBC.com? If you did your own research, so your stuff could end up there!

    Pseudo journalist career?

When I got my Society of Professional Journalist's award for this investigation, guess who I placed before?

    The Seattle P-I.

    And MSNBC.com.

    Thank you for your interest.

    Sandy
